So after doing the yeti in the last post, I wanted to do something with my other Sasquatch heroclix miniature. For some reason I thought of Mossman from the He-Man cartoon from the early 2000s. This is my result.

I can't paint, and neither can't you. Yeti (Part 2)
So here is the final product. His face lost some details because I had a bit of a mishap, used the wrong dip material, couldn't get it all off, had to repaint it again and the mouth got filled in. :(
Still I think it looks way better than what it start out as.
I'll have to think about if I want to do the other miniature in the same style or go for a more sasquatch feel, with browns and grasses on the base.

I can't paint, and neither can't you. Yeti (Part 1)
So it's been a while since I did an update.
I decide to get a yeti together.
I purchased a Sasquatch Heroclix figure from the Invincible Iron Man set. Now it comes in white or orangish. The white ones go for around $10, while the orangish ones go for around a $1, so I got an orange one.

As you can see compared to a medium sized nova squad leader, the Sasquatch miniature is definitely sized for large.
I had gotten some cheap plastic coins that were suppose to be 2" (as you can see, it is a little bigger as compared to a Dwarven Forge 2"x2" tile) and am using it as a base for my yeti.
Using a 2-part epoxy, I spread it on the base and put the miniature on it (I removed the clix base from the miniature first, but kept the "lima bean" base and just covered it with epoxy).
After letting the epoxy harden, I then put a coat of white paint on the miniature. I left the hands and feet unpainted at this time as I intend to use another color on them once the white dries (probably a grey).

Xenomorphs for Aliens, Predators, and Marines
Here are some xenomorphs. They are called alien homophages and can be gotten at Reviresco. They cost $7.50 and you get 5 of miniatures, a face hugger, and some eggs (3 sets with 2 to 3 eggs each). I need to touch them up (give them some shiny silver teeth), but here is a quick view. I dipped them in a black stain, so they are a little hard to make out. The details in person look a lot better.
"Look, I'm telling ya, there's somethin' movin' and it ain't us! Tracker's off scale, man. They're all around us, man. Jesus!"
"Maybe they don't show up on infrared at all."
*Nova reaper minatures used to show scale.

APC (Part 2) for Aliens, Predators, and Marines
I'm about ready to paint the APC, but I wanted to post some before pictures.
So here is the back of the APC. I installed a hatch since there wasn't one to begin with.
A couple of additional views of the turret.

APC (Part 1) for Aliens, Predators, and Marines
Working on an APC for the marines. I am going to use an army toy I got at the dollar general ($8?). I believe it is based on a LAV-300.
Here it is with the cannon removed. There is nova squad member from the reaper bones line next to it to show it's scale.
Since the wheels don't have that flat plate like on the APC in Aliens, I am gluing some plastic on them before I spray paint it.
